So, the dropshipping bug has finally bitten… Welcome, it took you long enough.
For those of you how’s new here, I’m Kyle.

Right off the bat I need to let ya all know that I’m NOT an affiliate of Gabriel’s or any other courses I might mention during this review…

Why then do I do the reviews? To help you guys get a fair, concise & unbiased option of what things are really like in the world of ecommerce, specifically dropshipping.

To be honest, dropshipping requires way too many repetitive tasks in order to keep the business running… I prefer to do something that has a higher profit margin… like in the high 80s to 90s will do me well.

Impossible! I hear you thinking… Well no, it's not.

That’s why I love local lead gen with FREE organic traffic from Google.

You rank your website with min maintenance & max profits…

Plus you’ve built a long-term business so your income is secured for years to come…That’s why my #1 Biz Model Recommendation for 2021 is Lead Generation.

But enough about that… let’s see if Ecom Millionaire is gonna set you on your way to get that Millionaire Dream…

1. What is Ecom Millionaire?

Like many of the short courses that get featured on my blog, this is no different.
It’s a Shopify and Facebook Ads course that doesn’t really cover the entire process of an eCommerce business. It focuses on drop shipping with FB.

Gabriel calls his course a ‘mentoring program’.

The standard course includes:
•  Setting up the perfect store step-by-step
•  Discovering products to sell on your store
•  Cracking Facebook Ads

You'll also get some bonuses which include 250 winning products, email templates & access to the Facebook Group.

Gabriel knows what he’s talking about, but this course is short.

It’s about setting up a Shopify store, product research using various tools, and then running Facebook Ads.

If you don’t know already, Facebook Ads is becoming very expensive. Most other courses offer other traffic methods such as Google Shopping, Google Ads, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat and even SEO.

Regardless of which course you buy, including Gabriel Beltran’s eCom Millionaire course, you still need to spend money to start a business. If you just paid $998 for the course, you still need to spend another $1000 on your eCom store before you can expect a single customer.

2. Who is Gabriel Beltran?

Gabriel Beltran's story starts as a used car salesman three years ago who was making $3,000 per month and decided to start learning eCommerce.

It wasn’t long before he claimed to be making $1,000 days and traveling the world, partying and attending other masterminds. By 2017 he’d bought his first green Lambo. Now it’s covered in a sleek army print wrap. Or is it blue? Or black?**

Gabriel claims to have made over $13 million from Shopify within as many months.

Sounds pretty incredible right?

Well, now you can own a piece of that dream as well by purchasing one of his courses or signing up for this mastermind/mentoring program where he shows his students how to do the same thing.

He has the supercars & the nice house & yet... you don't know if these are rented or borrowed or something like that. He could very well be this successful, but it's hard to verify.

You can find Gabriel on both YouTube & Instagram…. Although he hasn’t posted any new content on YouTube for a while…

Of the two, Instagram is far more popular where he has over 300K subscribers

His Instagram is typical of an ecommerce personality. It mainly just shows off his numerous high-performance cars & his waste the cash life style … Sells you on the dream that this is your ticket out & that you too can live this way…

Judging by his Insta account, you'd think the guy has it all. Not gonna lie, the Huracan’s one sexy looking car…

**Seriously this guy seems to have a ship load of sports car’s… Every article features him with a different one… Either that or he’s any spray painter’s best friend… Just saying…

See what I mean? Not sure if it’s the same 2 cars featured all the time, but that's not the point. Gabriel loves to flaunt the lifestyle big time.

From my experience: this lifestyle is mostly just that - a FANTASY...

Most people who have that type of cash really don’t flaunt it… because they don’t need to…

But dang son… that’s quite a car collection you’ve got going there… I'm jealous...

3. How does Dropshipping Work?

The working process of dropshipping is quite simple. It includes 4 simple steps:

  • You publish products you wish to sell on your online store, having none of them in stock.
  • The customer sees the product and places an order on your website.
  • You receive details about the order and forward the details of the customer and order to your dropship supplier.
  • The supplier then packages and ships the required products directly to the customer.

This is an attractive shipping business model, because you don't have to buy or keep stock.

With drop shipping, you’re not purchasing the inventory, instead you’re kinda just redirecting orders to the correct supplier.

Sounds great, right?

Well...not quite...I'll talk about the dropshipping cons later.

4. Is Dropshipping Legit, or a Scam?

Dropshipping is a Legit business & there are loads of success stories out there…

But then again, there are also plenty of horror stories, so… you gotta do some research & decide for yourself.

The only way you can make money from Dropshipping is by approaching it as a legitimate business: This means investing capital, putting in the hours & working your butt off.

I managed to have $48k sales in a single month with dropshipping. So it can be done. If you want to know more, read my mentor's Case Study here.

5. How much does Gabriel Beltran's Course Cost? Any Specials?

There are four different pricing points for eCom Millionaire, which range from $97 to $5800.

Yes, you read that right...

The $97 offer takes you to a different product called, ‘The eCom Millionaire Jumpstart’ which claims to be a $499 course on sale for $97 which gives you access to the online training platform, access to 10 winning products and a campaign set up strategy.

It’s pretty confusing. The $97 offer is not the same course, so be careful.

The $498 offer gives you access to eCom Millionaire, which includes four weeks of step-by-step training on store setup, Facebook Ads, scaling & a few bonuses. The bonuses include 250 winning products, a custom Shopify theme, copy and paste email templates and access to the Facebook group.

Warrior costs $5,800 and is an ongoing weekly training module where you’ll jump on a weekly webinar with other warriors who want to succeed with eCommerce too.

Then there's a Gold option where you get a monthly group mentorship call, access to Gabriel’s million-dollar campaign, and access to the mastermind. All of this for a cool $8,000.

Pros of Ecom Millionaire

6. Gabriel Beltran seems successful

I don't know if Gabriel is as successful as he claims but he's definitely had some success. There's only so much you can fake & I think it’s safe to say he's surpassed that…

It costs big bucks for a photoshoot like the one above...

7. Facebook Private Access Group

The Private Facebook Group is always a bonus. You get fantastic support from people who’s either in your situation or have gone through it…

You have loads of minds to pick – SO MAKE USE OF IT.

I for one, believe in the power of peer & mentoring groups.

8. Gabriel has the right idea

Gabriel is unlike most of the dropshippers out there… He acknowledges that without converting traffic into customers you will not have a business…

He takes it back to being about the customers…

9. Case Study

For those of you not sure what if this is the right move, or maybe just wanna get some more background or free advice, then go check out Gabriel’s case study by clicking here.

Cons of Ecom Millionaire

10. Way too short

There’s no other way to say this… there’s really not a lot of training happening in this course. It's honestly one of the shortest courses I've reviewed in a long time.

11. Too expensive

Although there are a few different options when it comes to course pricing… the cheapest option where you actually get the full course, is $498. That's a bit steep for what you're getting.

Yes, there are other courses that cost more than $2k, but there are also courses with a lot more content for a lot less than $498...

12. Limited marketing training

Facebook is the only traffic source that you guys will be taught here. Which is really annoying considering this is not a cheap course.

There are so many traffic sources out there & you need to find the one that suits your skills.

Really bugs me when courses only focus on Facebook Ads – it’s not a Facebook course....

13. Webpage seems to have expired…

Ok, so this is weird: just before I published this article, I wanted to double check one last thing on Gabriel’s Jumpstart webpage,

… But now it shows that the domain has expired…

Weird, right?

Concluding Thoughts

14. Do Gabriel's Students Actually Make Money?

Truth be told, Gabriel’s students seem to be crushing it in the world of e-Com. There’s a ton of testimonials & I’ve yet to find a negative review about him or his programs.

Go have a listen to some of these students… They all come from different walks of life & are scattered worldwide.

There’s way too many to put up so either follow the Facebook link below or click to go to the testimonial page.

15. Who's a Good Fit for The Ecom Millionaire?

According to Gabriel, the course is for:

  • eCommerce Marketers - already selling but looking to scale to the next level.
  • Sales People - currently working in sales, but who's looking for more time & freedom by running their won business.
  • Business Owners - Brick and mortar companies looking to multiply their sales through eCom.

What he doesn't mention is that there are no guarantees for success and no magic formula.

You still need to work your butt off...

16. What alternatives are there to Gabriel Beltran's The Ecom Millionaire?

I can recommend two options:

  • Ecom Elites – $197 (beginners only)
  • Ecom Beast 2.0 – $557 (beginners)

Franklin Hatchett’s Ecom Elites is the best value for money training on Dropshipping, in my opinion. If you’re looking for an alternative of Ecom Beast course then I would suggest you have a look at Ecom Elites.

Ecom Elites covers all the basic stuff and is 100% Beginner Friendly. Besides Google Ads & Facebook Ads training, you’ll also get access to FREE Traffic training, Instagram Influencer ads training, & much more!

You can check out my review for Ecom Elites by clicking here…

2. Ecom Beast 2.0

For almost the same money, you can get Harry Coleman's course, which features more content and also covers Google Ads.

The added bonus is that Harry still runs dropshipping stores, so you are learning from a true pro and getting up to date info.

Pros and Cons of Ecom Millionaire

The Good and Bad of Gabriel Bertram's Course

  • Gabriel looks to be extremely successful
  • You get access to a private FB Group
  • The course focuses on getting traffic to your store
  • Check out an actual case study of one of Gabriel's stores
  • It's a SHORT course...
  • Overpriced for the amount of content
  • Only covers FB Marketing
  • Webpage seems to disappear….
Parting Thoughts on Ecom Millionaire

Gabriel knows what he’s talking about and he also already has several very successful students in the Ecom game.

If selling physical products sounds like your heart’s calling, look into this course, live it & breathe it. (But you might need to get other more comprehensive courses to supplement it...)

I enjoyed learning from Gabriel, the guy certainly knows how to sell!

BUT, local lead gen is still my #1 pick for the best internet business to make your first sustainable & ethical 6 figure income.

Here's why...

How Does Dropshipping Stand up to Others Like Affiliate Marketing, & Lead Generation?

Not every business model suits every person, so you need to do your own homework and find what fits.

There are a number of reasons why I will always recommend Local Lead Gen as the #1 Biz model for 2021. One of them is because Lead Gen ticks all the boxes from MJ DeMarco.

MJ offers a serious dose of millionaire mentoring. This is from someone who's been there and done it.

cover image of the millionaire fastlane by M.J. DeMarco

One of the secrets DeMarco shares in The Millionaire Fastlane is how to evaluate potential businesses to pick the winners and avoid the duds.

He created the C.E.N.T.S. model to make it simple to pick a winning biz model. It stands for:

MJ DeMarco's CENTS model with checks next to each category

Let me give you a couple of examples of how to use it. Today, let’s focus on just two points. Time & Control…

18. Time

I love local marketing with free traffic because you’re building a business that is here to stay for the long term.

Once you rank websites, they will get free traffic and generate income for you for years to come.

lead gen organic rankings for tree service

With Local rankings, it’s a lot easier than most people think. I progressively make more money without ever having to spend more time to make it.

This is how you leverage your knowledge & skills to create time freedom. Building multiple streams of income that can run on its own.

19. Control

With Ecommerce, Gabriel did really well with his first speaker light bulb product for few months but as soon as there was an issue with the manufacturer, he was forced to stop selling that product and his sales went back down to zero.

With my business, that could never happen.

image of an auto gauge showing full and the words you are in control above it

My sites are ranked no matter what I do they generate income month after month. Makes me money while I sleep or take vacations. I don’t worry about customer order fulfillment or if tomorrow my ads will perform or not.

The biz is much more stable in that way, although the advantage of FB ads is the ability to begin generating traffic right away & to scale faster.

Gabriel Bertran's Course is Good, but Dropshipping is NOT Great...Generating Leads is Better! Here's Why:

Dropshipping is HARD!

Just like any business opportunity, those that never quit & have a burning desire to succeed, are the ones who eventually become successful.

Understand that you’re probably gonna fail at your first few attempts. Sure, it seems like a bed of roses, but don't forget the thorns...

You’ve been fed a bunch of BS if you believe the instant gratification mindset is gonna keep you motivated or even operational for long…

Don't believe the autopilot hype. There's a lot to contend with...

You gotta be willing to make the necessary sacrifices & have a “do whatever it takes” attitude to withstand not only unexpected external challenges but also the internal ones. Those little buggers are the ones that really get you - specially self-doubt & procrastination…

Becoming a successful entrepreneur is as much about learning new skills as it is looking deeper within & getting a deeper understanding of yourself.

Taking a long hard look at those self-sabotaging tendencies & realizing it’s gonna take serious effort, determination & a lot diligent work to finally overcome them.

Keep working towards improving your problem areas & sooner or later your old patterns quiet down a bit & the new, more empowering ones take root…so hang in there, I promise you it can be done… I’m living proof of it.

I also came from nothing. I also had the crappy job and car I felt embarrassed to drive.

This is why it’s so critical to immerse yourself in entrepreneurial content, not just going through the course but surrounding yourself with other entrepreneurs & mentors is the major difference between getting that winning head start or never really getting going in the first place.

dropshipping is hard headline

That being said, eCommerce for me requires too many repetitive tasks to keep the business profitable. I’d much rather do less sales & generate more money per sale.

For me, this is fairly easily done as my profit margins are close to 90%.

Ok ok… let’s play worse case scenario & try to make it less.

Even if we work on say 80% - it’s still heaps & bounds ahead of what even the best dropshipper would ever come close to maintaining.

In reality, it’s much closer to like 87% … & that’s inclusive of the minor cost of web hosting, general maintenance, etc.

If you want to know more about the secret to my online success with Lead Gen, then read below:

Literally anyone can get into dropshipping with hardly any effort or upfront cash. Regardless of what you're selling, you'll likely be competing with millions of other sellers in an extremely saturated market.

Plagiarism is rampant in dropshipping. It's far too easy for your competitors to copy your ads, your sales funnels, and even your Shopify store. Be assured that if you find a successful product, you will be copied and then undercut by your competition.

Advertisements have no guarantee of being profitable - and one should expect to occasionally have campaigns that fall short of expectations (which can cost thousands of dollars).

Facebook's ad prices have doubled this last year. Successful dropshippers can expect to profit roughly 8-15%, which only really works if you're selling major volumes of product.

The key to long term wealth is in building and owning valuable assets, but with dropshipping, you own nothing. You're an enslaved middleman to Shopify, Facebook, and Google. Their ad and metrics systems are unreliable and ever changing - and account deactivations are a way of life in eCommerce.

Ads must be developed and then monitored - and failing to do so could mean unprofitable ads or, even worse, ad account suspension.

Trending items are most often the only products that have a profitable ROI. Many businesses meet their ends on the fall of whatever trend they were capitalizing on.

Shipping from China takes six weeks, so expect lots of customer complaints and chargebacks (which are deducted from your bank account).
