There are several categories, including pay-per-click (PPC), pay-per-impression (PPI), & display ads.

Efficient digital marketing campaigns capitalize on all channels for advertising. Although paid advertising costs more than opposed to owned or earned advertising, paid forms of advertising are an efficient way to expose your company’s name to a broad audience.

4. Is The Black File Legit or a Scam?

A few years back, Mr. Minimalistic use to be rather flashy with his Lambos…combined that with numerous products & courses launched over the years – some better than others… you understand why the following comes up when searching his name.

Alex is very slick with his webinar funnels…with some white lies like his favorite one - The Scarcity Tactics. Those familiar with Dropshipping should know this one very well…

It’s basically where “this course will only be available if you sign up today” & then still finding it months or years down the line.

His “live webinars” when it’s clearly not is another great example.

The truth is, most marketers out there use the same tactics… haters gonna hate.

Alex’s products are mostly rock-solid. Some certainly could improve, as all things could…but the basis to create your own online business is there.
In my honest option: Alex isn’t a scam artist.

I get why many would claim such harsh words for him… But he’s all grown up now. Shedding his once flashy look-at-me image for a seriously selective & highly profitable company…

Plus & he’s funny AF (Go watch some of his YouTube Video’s & you’ll get what I’m saying)

5. How much does Alex's Black File Course Cost? Any Specials?

Although The Black File is not cheap, it’s also not the most expensive course out there.

That being said, because it’s a very specialized course that will only appeal to a select few, I think it’s fairly priced.

Alex teaches you the ability to target your ad to specific niche markets, days of the week, times of the day and target specific cities or specific countries to gain traffic from your ideal target audience.

The best part is after you’ve seen it works, you just clone it & adapt slightly & off you go with another niche…

I really like that he included SaaS in this course.

Alex’s tech company, Hyros, proves just how much software industry knowledge he has.

Any ideas, suggestions & advice he’d part with is invaluable - so take it.

10. PPC

While we do love that pay per click grants you immediate visibility, the flip side of that coin is that influx of leads drops off the day you quit paying for Google advertising or social media advertising.

For many companies, this makes PPC too expensive to be a long-term strategy.

11. Specialized Course

This is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, I’m all for it…

However, it does mean that even if you’re interested in all of this – unless you’re already familiar & above all – profitable – with which ever online biz model you’ve got going – then this is not the course for you.

12. Alex

Yeah, I know… But hear me out…

Alex can be rather intimidating. He can at times be quite blunt & could come across as one of those larger-than-life personas.

So, for those easily offended by profanity & straight talking, let this serve as a trigger warning.

13. No testimonials

So, this is a bit of a weird one… Look I get that it’s an ‘exclusive club’ however surely you’d still want people to know what a kickass job you’re doing…

And you have to keep in mind that this is Alex. The King of Self-Promotion - So why are there NO student testimonials for The Black File..?

14. Do Alex Becker's Students Actually Make Money?

Well, since I couldn;t find any student testimonials for the Black File, that's difficult to say. Do a Google search and you do find testimonials from other courses presented by Alex. (Naturally, you also get a lot of negative reviews and accusations of him being a scammer...)

One thing is sure though, Alex seems to be making money... So a great marketer, he definitely is...

15. Who's a Good Fit for The Black File?

This program is designed for people with an existing business, who already understand the basics of paid advertising.

So this course is NOT for beginners.

The “Black File” breaks down how to go from basic advertising to mass scaled 5 figure a day advertising. And how to do it profitably, the Alex Becker way! It's not for the feint of heart.

16. What alternatives are there to Alex's Black File?

For those of you brand new or just getting started in the game of Digital Marketing, Kevin David’s Marketing Agency Program is a good place to start.

It’s an easy-to-follow introductory course & won’t take up much time clocking in at just over 3hrs.

Kevin will share his tips & strategies to get new leads & customers. He’ll even give you scrips to use when reaching out to new clients.

It’s not very in depth but it will definitely give you a feel for the industry.

How Does Social Media Marketing Stand up to Others? Like Dropshipping, & Lead Generation?

Everyone is different. Some like the hustle & excitement of the High-End Upsell Game…Some, like me, enjoy the quiet laptop life.

Although personalities might differ, we all have one goal in mind – To have a Profitable Business.

The best way to find something that will work for you is to cut through all the BS out there & find out for yourself.

I’ve found MJ DeMarco’s book, The Millionaire Fastlane a fantastic help getting rid of all the over inflated & sometimes ridiculous claims out there.

I’ll just quickly touch on two points that made me decide.

18. Control:

What is Control?

Well, it boils down to if you have the ultimate control over our company or not.
In other words, if someone higher up the food chain makes a decision, could that in effect, half your income…

Take Amazon for example, they decided to cut their affiliate program commission by almost half – OVERNIGHT.

Not much you can do about that.

Same issue with Paid Advertising. As you all know, the rising costs of ads are staggering & don’t seem to be inclined to decrease any time soon.

With Local Lead Generation you don’t have this issue as you rank organically.

19. Time:

Time is our most precious resource is a cliché we’ve heard many a times.

However, it stands true.

Having your own business is not the easy laptop lifestyle everyone claims. In most cases it takes hard work, long hours & it’s a never-ending cycle.

That’s why I love Local Lead Gen because once you’ve ranked your website organically, it takes very little in the time to maintain.

Which provides you with a truly passive income & allows you the freedom to spend your time the way you truly want to.

CONCLUSION

The entire point of this program is using mass traffic to scale a LONG-TERM business & increase its overall valuation with consistent income increases.

This CANNOT be done without a well-structured back end… which means that you 10-fold the money you’d spend on advertising but create a stacking recurring income.

In short – This is the method on how to replicate what Alex has created through information marketing.
It would be awesome if he just included this within his numerous other coaching programs.
But that wouldn’t be internet marketing, now would it? Always Upsell being the catch-cry… & Mr. Becker is the King of Upsell.

I think that if you’re using Paid Advertising & wanna see better results – then Alex is the Man the show you how.

It is however not for everyone. There are risks involved, as with everything in life.

Just know that here, the stakes are much higher.

19. Alex's Course works, but Generating Leads is Better, Here's Why:

I can already hear some of you thinking – but isn’t it the same thing in the end… Well yeah – it’s all forms of Digital Marketing that inevitably will lead you to generating leads.

The real difference comes into play when you weigh up organic vs paid.
This is what I mean:

Organic vs Paid
Organic searches will always gain top spot in search listings & will continue to bask in the beautiful advantage of longevity.
Paid Advertising is great don’t get me wrong, but I view it more as a short-term solution.

Temporary Listing Results
One big disadvantage with Paid Advertising is that as soon as your budget runs out, your listings will disappear.

Increasing Pay-Per-Click Marketing Costs
Pay-Per-Click Marketing can sometimes be costly.
When bidding for keywords, even though you are only placing bid for sometimes less than $1, eventually they mount up - especially if you get caught in a bidding war.

Fewer Clicks than Organic
This shows the advantages of ranking organically instead of paying Google to pin your page to the top of search results.
Not only do most users ignore sponsored search results; they’re also more likely to distrust the brand that’s advertising itself.

Click fraud
