Is there such a thing as a WINNING BLUEPRINT to start your new biz with?

That's what this review will answer!

Below you'll find everything you need to know about this course including price to join, background information, course overview and more.

By the time you're done reading you'll know if this course is worth investing in.

PLEASE NOTE: I am in no way an affiliate! I don't get ANY money from doing my reviews.

This means you get my honest opinion and nothing more.
If you’re here today, it’s probably because you have already come across Product Winner Blueprint 2.0. You want to know whether this is a legit course worth your time or another one of the many scams out there.

I'm Ippei, and as an online entrepreneur making well over $50k per month form my online businesses, I am in a great position to offer advice and give you my opinion on this course. I've had five and 6-figure stores and have reviewed over 70 dropshipping courses in my time - so you're in good hands!

Let's delve into the course!

1. What is Product Winner Blueprint 2.0?

"Copy the exact formula I'm using in 2020 on my dropshipping stores to consistently find unsaturated winning products and how I scale them using Facebook Ads. No BS, no fluff, and no recycled content. Just 100% tested and proven strategies from my own dropshipping stores that no one else is teaching."

Words straight from Tristan Broughton's mouth (or website, if you want to be technical.)

The Product Winner Blueprint course focuses heavily on teaching you how to find the right products, and it teaches you a lot about how you should handle those products in the long-term.

This course doesn’t include a lot of marketing advice, and since marketing is such a huge factor in successfully running an eCommerce business, that can be a drawback for some people.

However, the course has helped a lot of people find the right products for their shops, and it has helped a lot of people ditch their day job.

This course deals heavily in the use of Facebook. If you’re aiming to use Shopify or another platform, you’re better off with another course. However, Facebook is accessible to everyone.

The course takes place over 10 separate modules, and each module is designed to be easily understandable. This is one of the most user-friendly dropshipping courses available, and it’s easy to see why so many people have found success after buying it.

Overall Product Winner Blueprint is a very well made course with good training.

There's 10 modules that take you through the entire process of creating an ecommerce business.

Here's a quick breakdown of each module and what you get.

  • Module 1: Store Setup
  • Module 2: Product Research
  • Module 3: Facebook Pixel
  • Module 4: Facebook Ad Targeting
  • Module 5: Facebook Ad Testing
  • Module 6: Facebook Ad Scaling
  • Module 7: Facebook Re-targeting
  • Module 8: Increasing AOV
  • Module: 9: Email Marketing
  • Module 10: Automation And Team Building

And there you have it. It seems that Tristan covers a lot of ground in the course.

Question is, is it enough to guarantee dropshipping success in 2021?

2. Who is Tristan Broughton

A lot of people in the ecommerce world are really, really immature.
Probably because a lot of them are teenagers. But I can't stand people that flex about how much they make and show off rented cars and stuff like that.

Tristan just seems like a regular person who makes a lot of money with eCommerce.

Although Tristan hasn’t been uploading consistently to his YouTube channel since mid-2019, I still find his free content to be valuable and relevant today. It’s a breath of fresh air to see that his channel isn’t stuffed with content of supercars or a lavish lifestyle.

His YouTube channel is pretty popular and has over 40,000 subscribers:
Most of his videos are filled with good information and there really isn't much clickbait, which is nice to see.

However, he doesn't seem to be posting much to YouTube anymore.

It's pretty much been a ghost town this last year.

3. How Does Dropshipping Work?

Dropshipping is an order fulfillment method that does not require a business to keep products in stock.
Instead, the store sells the product, and passes on the sales order to a third-party supplier, who then ships the order to the customer.

Easy, right?

Well, not really. I'll tell you more about the biz model later...

4. Is Dropshipping Legit or a Scam?

Maybe you’ve been considering the idea of starting your own dropshipping business but you’re just not sure if this thing is legit. Or maybe you said something to your friends at work and they all told you it was a scam and not to waste your money.
Often times drop shipping is misunderstood by people and how it really works. If we look at Amazon, they started out as a dropshipping biz.

And it worked for them (and is legal) because:
#1 Drop Shipping Works Similar to Brick & Mortar Stores
#2 You Work With Real Companies
#3 Big Brands
#4 They Have Rules
#5 They’re a Trusted Site
#6 They Give Refunds
#7 They Have a Real Office Location
#8 They Have a Phone Number
#9 They Have Store Hours
#10 They Are Affiliated With Trusted Brands

So yes, dropshipping is LEGIT. BUT...

You need to be aware of the pitfalls as well. I'll discuss some later on.

5. How much does Tristan’s Product Winner Blueprint Course Cost? Any Specials?

The standard course costs $297 and there is an upsell for an additional $200 to the Google Ads course.

This is a fair price compared to more expensive dropshipping courses out there. He’s likely to increase the price soon, and so if you are interested in this course, you might really want to consider making your move now.

Bundled with Tristan’s Google Ads Academy, it goes for a total of $497, which, according to Tristan, is the ultimate eCommerce bundle.

Pros of Product Winner Blueprint 2.0

6. Well Priced

Good price: There's so many expensive ecommerce courses out there - many are thousands of dollars and are low quality. Product Winner Blueprint is priced well at $297.

7. Facebook Ads Training

Facebook can make you a lot of money if you do it right. Facebook gets a lot of attention in this course and if you follow it, you'll understand Facebook ads well.

8. No Frills

It's so refreshing to see an eCommerce course without fluff. Product Winner Blueprint 2.0 gets right to the point and just teaches you ecommerce - nothing else.

9. Updates

You get lifetime updates with your purchase so you don't have to pay more when new videos are added. Tristan is constantly adding new modules and videos, which helps keep the course up to date.

Cons of Product Winner Blueprint 2.0

10. Limited Traffic Training

I like the Facebook training in this course but you need more than that. There's no training on Instagram or Google. These two traffic methods are HUGE money makers. You can get Google Ads training if you pay extra but it should be included in the original course.

11. Refund Policy

It claims to give you your money back if you've taken action, so it's not a no questions asked money-back guarantee.

7 days really isn't that long of a guarantee, and it's hard to prove you've taken action in such a short amount of time.

12. Course Content

Tristan offers good content to the beginner and covers most of the basics. But, overall, the course lacks detailed content. A lot of the topics are not covered in detail and more experienced dropshippers will not learn much from the course.

13. Updates

It's not clear when last Tristan did an update of the course. Version 2.0 was released in 2019 and a lot can change in terms of what works and what doesn't in 18 months...

Tristan also hasn't added new content to his YouTube channel in over a year, so you have to ask: Is Tristan still dropshipping..?

14. Do Tristan Broughton's Students Actually Make Money?

Tristan has a few testimonials and screenshots on the course website, suggesting that his students do make money.
Those are some of the results and they do seem impressive, right?

But how old are these screenshots and testimonials? How many are current?

15. Who's a Good Fit for Product Winner Blueprint 2.0

As per the Product Winner Blueprint website, the course provides a ton of value, especially for beginners. Beginners will find topics like store setup very valuable, while more experienced dropshippers who have difficulty with marketing, will get the most value from the Facebook Ads Scaling modules.

16. What alternatives are there to Tristan Broughton's Product Winner Blueprint 2.0?

Let's say you decide to spend $497 for both Tristan's courses (which you should, since learning JUST about FB Ads & not Google Ads is just stupid), are there alternatives?

A good one is Matthew Sabia's Deepwork Labs eCommerce Accelerator Program.

Unlike most courses that focus only on FB Ads (and perhaps Google Ads), Matthew looks at other platforms that often get neglected. He covers the two major platforms (FB & Google), but also YouTube, Messenger, Instagram, and Pinterest. More than that, he also covers the use of chatbots to drive sales.

And at $47 per month, it comes to about the same as Tristan's two courses.

If money is an issue and you can't spend $497 on Tristan's Product Winner Blueprint 2.0 Course AND
The Google Ads Ecom Academy Course, then I recommend Ecom Elites.

Franklin Hatchett goes out of his way to include content you won't find in many other courses. eCom Elites is a very informative course and the value for money AND amount of content is unrivaled.

Franklin is still actively involved in dropshipping, which really makes him an expert in the field. And at $197, there is no better course to start out with.

How Does Dropshipping Stand up to Others? Like Lead Generation?

Not every business model suits every person, so you need to do your own homework and find what fits.

Each biz model has its pros and cons.

Luckily, I found MJ DeMarco's book, The Millionare Fastlane. It taught me how to decide which biz model was best for me.

MJ offers a serious dose of millionaire mentoring and should be on your must-read list. He shares his secrets in evaluating potential businesses so that you can pick the winners and avoid the duds.

He created the C.E.N.T.S. model to make it simple to pick a winning biz model. C.E.N.T.S stands for:
MJ DeMarco's CENTS model

A successful business must have all of these present, and sadly, dropshipping falls short.

Here's Control & Time as examples:

18. Control:

If you really want to be in the fast-lane you need to have complete control over your business. If you’re in the affiliate sales business you don’t have control. Your affiliate could change or end the program at any time. If you’re making money off search traffic clicking on your advertisements you’re not in control. One quick change to Google’s search algorithm and your income dried up! Not cool! (happens all the time by the way) If you’re running a franchise you’re not in control. Your brand, methods, and entire business are subject to the franchisers business.

Before starting a business you must ask yourself the level of control and influence that you’ll have so that you can take your company to the promised land.
Running a dropshipping business is not the easy money maker it’s advertised to be. It’s work! There is so much involved in running an online business, and that goes for dropshipping websites as well.
As a retailer, you are responsible for providing customer service, placing orders, maintaining your website, and bringing in online traffic.
This will all be time-consuming and difficult, especially if you aren’t well-versed in web design or SEO. Make sure you have a good grasp of business, customer service, and eCommerce technology before you begin.

ON THE OTHER HAND!!!!

With Local Lead Generation the Website and number is yours. No one can take it away from you.

19. Time:

Having a dropshipping business is not easy money, not like they advertise it.

As a retailer, you are responsible for providing customer service, placing orders, maintaining your website and brining in online traffic.

This is all time-consuming AND difficult. You need to have a good idea of the business and customer service.
It may take about 1 month to find a legit product to sell that will actually sell on Facebook.

Lead generation takes about 6 Hours to build your first lead generation site.

It take some time to get the adds correct and on the correct funnels so you have net positive conversions through dropshipping, and it is really amazing what you can do with Dropshipping but unfortunately does not last. Eventually ads will exhaust the audience and stop converting.

CONCLUSION

Tristan Broughton's Product Winner Blueprint 2.0 is a good course for beginner dropshippers who need the lowdown on Facebook Ads.

Even though the course hasn’t received any major updates since the release of 2.0, I find the content to still be mostly relevant.

This is still one of the best priced courses on drop shipping with Facebook ads, and the creator clearly knows what he is doing. This course is for beginners looking for guidance to start their business and who will be focusing solely on FB Marketing.

You can definitely learn a lot from this course! The course content is more than fair for the price, Tristan is competent as an instructor, and the course material is generally good.

PARTING THOUGHTS ON DROPSHIPPING

19. Tristan Broughton's Course works, but Generating Leads is Better, Here's Why:

Dropshipping was all the rage a few years ago when it managed to churn out new millionaires by the dozen.

Why?

Well, dropshipping is great as you don’t have to invest thousands into products/stock, nor do you have to pay to rent warehouse space to store it, or get employees to rack, stack and ship.

Essentially the middleman, you are only left with marketing your online store and getting those customers! Easy right?

The drawback to this perk is that you don’t CONTROL your supplier’s inventory. If they run out of stock you run out of stock. Or if they have a poor product or crappy distribution, there's NOTHING you can do about it...

Drop shipping’s ease of entry is also a double-edged sword. There's no major learning curve, & it's inexpensive to start. Bonus, right? Well...

It also means that just about ANYONE else can also enter dropshipping, use the same suppliers, sell the same products and use the same marketing methods...

That's why dropshipping is NOT my number 1 Business model. Local Lead Gen allows you to rank your sites on Google for FREE. Yes, FREE.

  • There are no Marketing Campaigns & Ad Budgets and A/B Testing, etc.
  • There's no constant product research.
  • Your success is not dependent on suppliers and other factor outside of your control.
Want to know more about Lead Gen? Read on below:
MARKET SATURATION

Literally anyone can get into dropshipping with hardly any effort or upfront cash. Regardless of what you're selling, you'll likely be competing with millions of other sellers in an extremely saturated market.

LOW BARRIER OF ENTRY & PLAGARISM

Plagiarism is rampant in dropshipping. It's far too easy for your competitors to copy your ads, your sales funnels, and even your Shopify store. Be assured that if you find a successful product, you will be copied and then undercut by your competition.

HIGH RISK

Advertisements have no guarantee of being profitable - and one should expect to occasionally have campaigns that fall short of expectations (which can cost thousands of dollars).

LOW PROFIT MARGINS

Facebook's ad prices have doubled this last year. Successful dropshippers can expect to profit roughly 8-15%, which only really works if you're selling major volumes of product.

NO LONG-TERM ASSETS

The key to long term wealth is in building and owning valuable assets, but with dropshipping, you own nothing. You're an enslaved middleman to Shopify, Facebook, and Google. Their ad and metrics systems are unreliable and ever changing - and account deactivations are a way of life in eCommerce.

HIGH MAINTENANCE

Ads must be developed and then monitored - and failing to do so could mean unprofitable ads or, even worse, ad account suspension.

RELIANT ON TRENDS

Trending items are most often the only products that have a profitable ROI. Many businesses meet their ends on the fall of whatever trend they were capitalizing on.

CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS

Shipping from China takes six weeks, so expect lots of customer complaints and chargebacks (which are deducted from your bank account).
