If you’ve landed here because you’re looking for a Supreme E-Com Blueprint review, you’re in good hands.

This is an unbiased review where we dig into the good and the bad of AC Hampton’s dropshipping course. I’m not an affiliate for Supreme E-Com Blueprint or any other dropshipping course.

Before we get started, let me give you some background on me. My name is Ippei (Like eBay but with a P). I’m an entrepreneur & have been involved in online businesses since 2014. I have dropped thousands on studying courses in all areas of ecom and online business because I’m always looking for cutting-edge strategies to take my business to the next level.

To be honest, I have concerns about dropshipping as a business model in 2021. It’s become over-saturated, advertising costs are continuing to rise, and shipping times and expenses are boarding on crisis. If you want to save yourself the headaches, check out my #1 recommended business model

Let’s get back to our review.

1. What is Supreme Ecom Blueprint?

This is a very short course consisting of 8 modules. With the total course curriculum, video’s only amounting to 3hr45min in total.

Here's a quick breakdown of each module:

1) Back End Shopify Setup 14:20

Shopify is the platform you're going to be building your store on.

The first module is dedicated to making sure you can navigate the backend of Shopify & how to create your store.

The following is also discussed:

• 950 winning products AC gives you to sell

• Installing your “Customized High Converting Theme” that came with the course

• Setting up your abandoned cart

• Apps needed to increase profit

• An overview of making a simple site that sells

• He also offers Store reviews

2) Steps to Running Your First Ad 15:25

This second module goes over all the steps needed to create your first Facebook Ad.

This includes creating a Facebook page, setting up Ads Manager, how to use product research tools to locate those winning products as well as calculating the break-even point.

He also gives product Validation Checkpoints - so you can see if the product you have is something that consumers might actually want. A pretty important thing to validate, I think.

3) Video Testing 1:15:25

Here you'll learn how to create & test video ads.

This includes:

• Picking a winning video

• Testing your videos

• Structuring high converting video ads

• How to buy video ads

• How to create videos yourself

4) Icebreaking Interesting/Lookalike Audience Testing 46:31

Here we have yet another section on video ads.

You'll learn about launching your first video ad, how to gain potential customer's trust, creating custom audiences/lookalike audiences & how to read your data (KPI)

5) Retargeting funnel 32:41

This is a short section and only has two videos. You'll just learn how to run retargeting ads.

6) Scaling 21:21

The scaling section has 3 videos…however, you'll only just learn how to scale your winning ads to make a bit more…

7) Automate your store 8:48

If & when you make some cash, you'll wanna free up some time for yourself… This section shows you how to hand off some of the smaller tasks in order to gain more time.

8) Important bank criteria 12:48

The last section only has two videos and it's about setting up bank accounts for your business.

2. Who is AC Hampton?

Alex Hampton, or AC as he prefers, is a 24yr old entrepreneur & specializes in real estate and the eCommerce space.

He’s a consultant, mentor & business coach whose mission (according to him), is to help you launch & scale your own rental empire.

He graduated from the University of Missouri with an education in marketing, advertising & social media.

When Alex’s first hit store generated $220,000 it was just the kind of encouragement he needed to keep building with more products and new stores.

His 2nd store hit the jackpot with $1.7 million in gross sales in its 1st year. Not too shabby.

After this massive success, AC was featured on Shaderoom for growing a store to almost $2 million in less than 3/4 of a year. After this came the podcast “Tech Money Talks” that went viral!

This helped him to get his story out & relate to those in a similar position. Following his sudden fame, he decided to create the Supreme Ecom Blueprint course.

His YouTube Channel seems to be gaining popularity over the last few months. This looks like it’s prompted the release of more frequent content – Well done.

His Instagram page is more of a lifestyle page than an eCommerce page, showcasing his flashy side a bit more… But at the same time putting out a lot of feel-good inspirational material.

3. How Does Dropshipping Work?

The retailer (that's you), partners up with a dropship supplier that manufactures and/or warehouses products, packages the products, and ships them directly to your customer, on your behalf.

So, in short, it works like this:

1. The customer places an order & pays for a product on your online store.

2. You either automatically or manually forward the order and customer details to the dropship supplier & pay them.

3. The supplier packages and ships the order directly to the customer in your name.

This kind of business model is extremely attractive as it eliminates the need for the store owner to have a physical business location such as an office space or warehouse — instead, all they need is a laptop and an internet connection.

4. Is Dropshipping Legit or a Scam?

As any industry grows, you’ll find a growth spurt in the unscrupulous scam artists within that industry as well.

Dropshipping is no exception to this rule. With plenty of nasty little people happy to relieve you of your hard-earned cash, dropshipping has gained quite a reputation for itself.

Any company that promises easy money is probably not legit.

You should always be wary of any company (dropship or not) that tells you of profits with little to no work involved. The scams or middleman programs, make ridiculous claims & promises to hook you in…then comes the up-front fees or monthly costs.

This will sometimes come wrapped up in a handy “expert coaching” program – which is unfortunate as there are many fantastic coaches out there who really can push your business to the next level.

How do you avoid getting scammed?

Simple - Do some due diligence before forking out any cash.

Research & then research some more. Check reviews (like here) & then see what would be the best fit for you.

So, to answer the question. Is dropshipping a Scam – NO.

But there are scammers involved in the industry, so take care.

5. How much does AC Hampton's Course Cost? Any Specials?

Supreme Ecom Blueprint will set you back $397.

There are no current specials running & I can’t see any indicator that there has been in the past or will be in the future…

Pros of Supreme Ecom Blueprint

6. Customized High Converting Theme

The free themes you get with Shopify are pretty nice but having a theme specifically for dropshipping is much better. This will increase your sales for sure.

7. Banking Section

AC offers a section on Banking for new business owners, & he gives some good advice.

8. Easy to follow

Both his written & video lectures are pretty easy to follow… You won’t get confused if your new to the whole biz model & he does lay everything out in a nicely structured package.

9. Marketing Campaigns

This course goes into a lot more detail than most other courses on running successful online marketing campaigns.

I love that it touches upon various parts of advertising (e.g., retargeting funnels) that some other courses do not touch. A lot of these ideas have the potential to earn you a lot of money if applied right.

Cons of Supreme Ecom Blueprint

10. Limited Traffic Training

There are so many different ways to get traffic to your store.

You’ve got Facebook Ads, Instagram, Google Ads, Google Shopping Ads, Bing Ads, Pinterest, SEO, email marketing & the list goes on… Focusing on just one can be a recipe for disaster.

Each traffic source is different & suits different people's skills. For example, some people are good at writing creatives & creating actual ads. Facebook Ads works wonders for this type.

Others are better at targeting keywords - where it's more about numbers. Google Ads will work much better for them...

My point is, you need diverse traffic training – how else are people gonna figure out what works for them?

Unfortunately, you’re not getting it here.

Personally, I don't think it's possible for Supreme Ecom to be considered a good eCommerce course if you only teach Facebook Ads.

There are tons of traffic sources out there & if you wanna succeed you need to know them all…

11. Poor Refund Policy

With Supreme Ecom Blueprint, you get a 24hour refund policy...

Wait, what?

24hours, not days?? That can't be right…

Who can decide if a course, Ecom or not, is right for you in just 24 hours?

Picking my new favorite ice-cream takes longer than that…

You can barely get through any proper training in that amount of time… Granted - The course is under 4hrs, but still... As a beginner dropshipper, you will never know if 24 hours is enough time to figure out if a course is worthwhile or not.

12. Not worth the price tag

This course is pretty short when you think about it.

3 hours and 45 minutes is not a long time to learn a new business model. I don't even think it's sufficient to learn a new skill set like Facebook Ads.

I've seen training that's 3 times longer and costs half as much. I think this course isn't worth $397...

13. KPI skimmed over

I really would’ve found more value in this course if AC went into more depth with the KPI’s & why they are so important…What is a Key Performance Indicator (KPI)?

A key performance indicator – also known as “KPI” for short – is a metric that communicates how well an organization or individual performs against their principal objectives.

Think of them as GPS coordinates for your business.

They tell you where you are on the map & will help you identify the best route you need to take in order to achieve your goals. (Your business goals that is, not sure how successful it will be for your personal goals but ya know…)

Here are the 6 crucial KPI’s for any eCommerce business…

• Shopping cart abandonment rate

• Conversion rate

• Cost of customer acquisition

• Customer lifetime value

• Average order value

• Gross profit margin

Guys these are SUPER important & will show you what areas you need to work on…

Find out as much as you can about them & then stay on top of it… Good luck!

Concluding Thoughts

14. Do AC Hampton's Students Actually Make Money?

Seems like they do… but the testimonial page layout is very weird…

You have random screenshots & not really much info… But it does appear as if his students are getting results…

Now, if these testimonials are from his mentoring program or Supreme Ecom Blueprint, I can’t tell you.

15. Who's a Good Fit for Ecom Blueprint?

This course is marketed to anyone interested in Ecom. According to AC this course will benefit beginners as well as experienced Ecommerce businesses.

See below for a direct answer from their website.

16. What alternatives are there to AC Hampton's Supreme Ecom Blueprint?

If you are looking to break into the Dropshipping market or even if you’re actively involved, one course I would recommend hands down is Nick Peroni’s Ecom Empires Academy.

Ecom Empires Academy by Nick Peroni

This is one of the most comprehensive eCommerce courses out there with over 20 hours of training provided. This course pretty much has it all…One of the things I love the most about this course is that although Nick is a formidable name in himself, he actually brings in some of the world’s top experts in their respective fields to present specific modules in his course.

Oh & I forgot to mention… this top-notch course is 100% Free… Yes, you’ve got it… 100% FREE.

If you’re a bit skeptical about whether or not dropshipping is the right move for you – then take Nick’s course. Heck, even those of you who’s been in dropshipping for a while would benefit.

Not entirely sold yet… Go have a look at my review of Ecom Empires Academy & see if it’s a good fit or not.

The second option I would recommend is eCom Elites by Franklin Hatchett.

Franklin delivers a ton of content combined with real value for $197. There’s an upgraded version for $297 but the cheaper version has more than enough to work with.

Not only do you go through the usual of store creation and product research, Ecom Elites over-delivers when it comes to advertising channels.

Is there a catch here? Well, Hatchett is a ninja when it comes to affiliate marketing so expect there to be some measure of upsells or subscriptions. He’s not the only course guru who does this.

Still, you can’t beat Ecom Elites for the price on a brand name course - especially if you don’t go into it with the wool pulled over your eyes.

You can find a more in-depth Ecom Elites review here.

Parting Thoughts on Supreme Ecom

AC made a substantial amount of money doing dropshipping so he clearly knows a thing or two about the business model.

However, his first attempt at creating a course falls a bit short of the mark.

Supreme Ecom Blueprint seems a bit rushed, almost like he was trying to cash in on his 5min of fame before it faded away. I’ll give him some credit though; it's a good marketing plan – come out with a course, then the very expensive mentoring program… followed by some free YouTube tutorials.

Putting that all aside – Realistically speaking - there’s simply no way AC can deliver on some of the ridiculous claims & promises he makes…

My humble opinion - it’s overpriced & not offering anything unique...

There is value in the course, though.

You receive some nicely laid out guides to get you started & even help you, step by step, with the basic setup of your store & recommended apps. Short videos cover the beginning stages of most aspects that help during your store setup. AC also gives you some personal insights & tips on where to find some quality suppliers which is an absolute must if you wanna make it as a dropshipper.

I do however feel that there are tons of free courses on YouTube where you can get this same content.

How Does Dropshipping Stand up to Others? Like Affiliate Marketing, Lead Generation, or Selling on Shopify?

There are tons of appealing aspects to Dropshipping. The Low Barrier to Entry (which is actually one of the things I detest about dropshipping); being able to start a business with very little startup cash; having tons of free information out there to get you started, & much more…

But for today, let’s have a look at two points.

These are two of the characteristics that a Fastlane business should have…

For those not familiar with MJ de Marco’s Millionaire Fastlane check it out here

18. Control

What is control? Well, the best way I can explain it is to look at the little universe in which you’ve to build your business. Be this Shopify, Amazon or any other platform available.

Can you see your little shop in this business universe of your choosing…? Great, now tell me - do you have control over it?

In other words, can someone else – higher up the food chain – make some unforeseen decision & bam your profits are sliced in half?

Sometimes even cutting profit margins by as little as 10% could be enough to see some businesses on shaky grounds.

Finding yourself from one day to the next making serious adjustments just to break even can’t be fun…

Yeah, but come on, what’re the chances of that happening right?

Even if, by the odd chance something like that did happen it wouldn’t be an overnight thing.

Obviously, there would be a fair warning given & changes would be gradually phased in…it’s logic…

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Apparently Not…

A recent example is Amazon cutting their affiliate commissions in half on April 21, 2020. (source)

I’m sure you’re thinking – Ippei, you’re being dramatic…

Surely it couldn’t have that much of an impact on the affiliate marketers, right?

Don’t take my word for it…  The Location Rebel explains all.

19. Time

There are two types of time:
- Your Free Time

- Your Making Money Time

Now I know nobody has a problem with the 1st one on this list. In fact, this is EVERYBODY’S favorite time. Yes, even the Jeff Bezos & Elon Musk’s of the world…

You see most people in this world think of their free time as those 2 days they get to lounge around after a hectic week of work. That special time you get to spend with loved ones on your annual family vacation. There’s nothing wrong with that…

You’ve worked hard & deserve some YOU-time…

But for me, & a lot of others just like me, Free Time = Freedom.

Freedom to do what you want, where you want – without having to worry about who’s gonna fit the bill for the #SailAroundTheWorld holiday…

People are unfortunately caught up in a very unhealthy relationship. The relationship of trading time for money.

As a business owner you feel compelled to go that extra mile & put in those extra hours…why, well because it’s your business so why wouldn’t you.

You keep telling yourself: “Bob, It’s gonna pay off in the end.” Sacrifice now to reap the rewards later… then a year passes… two… then ten. Kids all grown up, your spouse hardly knows you… but in the end, you can retire & see some of the world…Sounds terrible, to be honest.

But why does this scenario happen more often than not? How can one avoid falling into this trap?

By answering a simple question - Do you have to be present & involved in your business in order for it to make money?

If your answer is yes, then 9/10 times you’ll end up like Bob. If you create a business that can function independently from you, like Lead Gen does from me…  then you’ve got yourself on the right track to Freedom. You see because of the level of passivity my Lead Gen Biz offers me. I get to travel & see the world & not have to worry about if my business is still gonna be standing when I get back.

Lead Gen gives me the Freedom to come & go as I want to know that my income is secure.

AC Hampton's Course is Okay, but Generating Leads is Better. Here's Why:

The promise of easy money is normally what draws in most dropshippers.

The fake gurus convince you that it's all automated and you can make a full-time income off dropshipping by only working a few minutes a day. From the beach. Or in your Lambo.

Sadly, it's not true.

Dropshipping includes a lot of RISK. And a lot of WORK. And will require a lot of MONEY for marketing purposes.

In contrast, local lead gen offers the following:

SOLVING A PROBLEM:

Leads are the lifeline of any business. Without new leads, new customers are hard to come by.

By generating leads for small local businesses, you help the local economy while getting paid handsomely.

Thus, everybody WINS!

Always in High Demand:

What do most business owners throughout the world have in common? The vast majority have no idea how to market themselves online.

This is where Lead Gen comes to save the day.

Not only will you get paid well for your expertise but you will also help local businesses.

Consistent Recurring Income:

Once you start generating leads for a business, which in turn leads to sales… you’ll find that the businesses tend to stick with your services.

Why? Simple: If you have a tried & tested stream of consistent income would you cut it off? Of course not.

Owners are more than happy to pay you your fee, as they are raking in the benefits of more leads on a permanent basis.

Speed:

By using Free organic traffic in Google, you are able to rank your website much faster locally than trying to rank a site nationally or globally… Pretty neat right?

Creating a True Passive Income:

Have I mentioned this before? Well, maybe I just need to stress how important this is...

With Local Lead Generation you can finally have a truly passive income.

Once you’ve ranked your site using FREE Organic Traffic in Google, your site requires very little maintenance.

We’re talking a few minor tweaks every few months to keep your ranking… How great is that?

Conclusion

Hey, I hope you got something useful out of this Supreme eCom review.

Although I take my hat off to AC's success as a dropshipper who's scaled store to high sales volume, it's not necessarily translated well to being a coach, at least, not yet.

There are some pieces here to get you thinking like a business owner which are useful.

But all in all, the course is missing some key elements here.

IMHO the best days of dropshipping are long gone.

Yes, there are people doing ecommerce successful and there will always be a place for that...Amazon is leading the industry there.

But dropshipping has been and gone.

The only real money now in dropshipping is selling courses (hint - you're the consumer).

Now, if you're looking for a real online business model that will stand the test of time AND provide you real, scaleable income, I urge you to seriously consider Local Lead Generation

When I got started building my Lead Gen biz, I was able to build more income each month and keep building.

I no longer have to stress about testing products, worrying if my Facebook Ads account is going to get shut down, or if a supplier is trying to rip me off.

#Control

If you want to escape the 9-5 grind and discover what real wealth is - the kind where you own 'assets' that pay you and grow in value, you owe it yourself (and your family) to keep reading.

MARKET SATURATION

Literally anyone can get into dropshipping with hardly any effort or upfront cash. Regardless of what you're selling, you'll likely be competing with millions of other sellers in an extremely saturated market.

LOW BARRIER OF ENTRY & PLAGARISM

Plagiarism is rampant in dropshipping. It's far too easy for your competitors to copy your ads, your sales funnels, and even your Shopify store. Be assured that if you find a successful product, you will be copied and then undercut by your competition.

HIGH RISK

Advertisements have no guarantee of being profitable - and one should expect to occasionally have campaigns that fall short of expectations (which can cost thousands of dollars).

LOW PROFIT MARGINS

Facebook's ad prices have doubled this last year. Successful dropshippers can expect to profit roughly 8-15%, which only really works if you're selling major volumes of product.

NO LONG-TERM ASSETS

The key to long term wealth is in building and owning valuable assets, but with dropshipping, you own nothing. You're an enslaved middleman to Shopify, Facebook, and Google. Their ad and metrics systems are unreliable and ever changing - and account deactivations are a way of life in eCommerce.

HIGH MAINTENANCE

Ads must be developed and then monitored - and failing to do so could mean unprofitable ads or, even worse, ad account suspension.

RELIANT ON TRENDS

Trending items are most often the only products that have a profitable ROI. Many businesses meet their ends on the fall of whatever trend they were capitalizing on.

CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS

Shipping from China takes six weeks, so expect lots of customer complaints and chargebacks (which are deducted from your bank account).
